Project Launch (PL) in a nonprofit organization established in 2012 to help local students and their families make a successful transition from high school to post-secondary learning. PL is working hard to make sure that our local students have all the support they need to success. PL is free and open to any recent Deer Isle-Stonington High School graduate who wants to further their education after high school as well as those preparing to enter the workforce. To date, more than 120 students have enrolled in PL. Over 65% of them are the first in their family to attend college.

Project Launch at the Library
Tuesdays at 5:30pm to 7:00pm, at the Chase Emerson Memorial Library in Deer Isle. Students, parents, and community members are invited to meet with PL Director, Kim Hutchinson about college applications, workforce questions, and learn about PL.
